Text Messaging (SMS) Policy

Brannan & Hessel CPA, LLC ("we," "us," or "the Firm") offers clients and prospective clients the option to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from us. This section explains what messages we send, how to sign up, how to stop, and how your information is used. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

Program Description — What We Text About

By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Brannan & Hessel CPA, LLC related to:

Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notices;
Account and service updates (e.g., document status, engagement updates, billing notices, firm announcements); and
Responses to text messages you send to us (e.g., questions, scheduling requests, or document follow-ups).

Appointment, account, and service texts described above are separate from marketing. We will only send you marketing or promotional text messages, such as seasonal tax reminders, membership offers, and firm announcements or promotions, if you separately agree below to receive them. Agreeing to receive appointment and service texts does not mean you have agreed to receive marketing texts, and agreeing to receive marketing texts is never required in order to work with the Firm. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any services from us, and is never shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than described in this policy.

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us. You may receive up to approximately 25 messages per month.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Delivery of messages is not guaranteed. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, or for messages that are not received due to your carrier, network availability, or device limitations.

How to Opt Out

You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the message "STOP," we will send you a one-time confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you sign up again or as reasonably necessary to inform you that your opt-out has been processed. You may also opt out by contacting us directly at the phone number or email below.

Carrier coverage is not guaranteed for all subscribers, and messaging may not be supported on all devices or in all areas.
