OFFICIAL RULES — Brannan & Hessel CPA $500 Peanut Festival Giveaway. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor. This Promotion is sponsored by Brannan & Hessel CPA LLC, 161 N. Main Street, Williston, FL 32696 ("Sponsor"), offered as a limited promotional activity in connection with Sponsor's tax, accounting, and advisory services.
2. Promotion Period. The Promotion begins October 3, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends October 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Sponsor's computer system is the official timekeeping device for online entries.
3. Eligibility. Open to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, owners, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, their respective spouses, and household members, whether related or not) of Brannan & Hessel CPA LLC, Heroic Solutions Inc., their affiliated companies, and anyone directly involved in administering the Promotion are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter. During the Promotion Period, enter by visiting brannanhessel.cpa/brannan-hessel-cpa-50-off-win-500 or by scanning the QR code on Brannan & Hessel CPA Peanut Festival promotional materials, and completing the entry form. No purchase, payment, tax preparation engagement, consultation, or other business relationship with Brannan & Hessel CPA is required to enter or win. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Promotion Period. Multiple, automated, robotic, scripted, or bulk entries may be disqualified. Entries must contain the information reasonably requested and be received before the Promotion Period ends.
5. Prize. One (1) winner will receive $500 cash (total approximate retail value of all prizes: $500.00), awarded by check or another payment method selected by Sponsor. The prize is non-transferable before award; no substitution except Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make the advertised prize unavailable. Winner is solely responsible for any taxes or other obligations resulting from the prize.
6. Winner Selection and Odds. Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries after the Promotion Period closes, expected on or about November 2, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Promotion will not be manipulated to favor any particular entrant, area, time period, client, prospective client, or other person.
7. Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize. The potential winner will be contacted using the email and/or phone number supplied with the entry and must respond within five (5) calendar days of the first attempted notification. Sponsor may require proof of identity, age, and eligibility, and execution of an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and/or tax documentation. A potential winner who cannot be contacted, does not timely respond, is ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to provide requested documentation may be disqualified, and Sponsor will select an alternate winner by random drawing from remaining eligible entries. Sponsor intends to award the advertised prize to an eligible winner.
8. $50 Tax Preparation Offer. The separate $50 off 2026 tax return preparation offer is not a condition of entering the $500 Giveaway and does not affect an entrant's chances of winning. It is available to qualifying new Brannan & Hessel CPA clients, subject to the terms stated in the applicable promotional materials, including a minimum tax preparation fee of $250. Purchasing tax preparation or any other service does not provide an additional entry or improve the odds of winning.
9. Free Year-End Tax Checkup Offer. The complimentary 20-minute year-end tax checkup is a separate promotional offer and is not required to enter the Giveaway. It must be scheduled by December 15, 2026, subject to availability. The consultation is general in nature and does not, by itself, establish a client relationship or obligate either party to an engagement for professional services.
10. Entry Information and Privacy. Information submitted will be used to administer the Promotion, communicate with entrants, verify eligibility, and award the prize. Consenting to marketing communications, where separately offered on the entry form, is not required to enter or win and will not affect eligibility or odds of winning. Personal information will otherwise be handled per Sponsor's applicable privacy practices.
11. General Conditions. Sponsor may disqualify an entrant it reasonably determines has tampered with entry, circumvented these Official Rules, submitted fraudulent entries, interfered with the Promotion, or acted to unfairly affect it, and may correct obvious errors in promotional materials that don't materially alter the Promotion or unfairly affect entrants. If technical problems affect online entry, Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to preserve valid entries and run the Promotion fairly.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability. To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree Sponsor and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, representatives, and agents are not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, claims, or liabilities arising from participation or from acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, except where liability cannot legally be waived or limited. Sponsor is not responsible for entries lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or not received due to technical failures beyond its reasonable control.
13. Publicity. Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize permits Sponsor to announce the winner's name and city/state of residence in connection with the Promotion without additional compensation. Any further use of the winner's photograph, likeness, or testimonial is subject to any consent required by law.
14. Governing Law. The Promotion and these Official Rules are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes not resolved informally are subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate state or federal courts in Florida, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Winner Information. After confirmation, the winner's name may be obtained by written request to: Brannan & Hessel CPA LLC, Attn: Peanut Festival Giveaway, 161 N. Main Street, Williston, FL 32696, received within 90 days after the Promotion concludes.
